Rumanetsa and Enchev

The band was found in 1996 in Dobrich by Adrian Rachev (Rumanetsa/The Romanian/) and Georgi Enchev. In the beginning, during the years 1996 – 1997, they experimented with recording songs in their own home-studio. Thus appeared the first variations of `Muhata` /The fly/ and `Mene ne me poznavash` /You don’t know me/. (In fact the boys love experimenting with music and almost any song of them is in 5 of 6 variations).

For the first time their song was played by the Sofia Radio Tangra. It even entered the chart BG Top 20 without any help or advertising. In the sequel their songs started to be played by Darik Radio and BNR (Bulgarian National Radio).

The debut of the boys, however, was as late as 1999 at the Festival `Surandev` in Dobrich, where they won the second-place award for young talents with the song `Mene ne me poznavash` /You don’t know me/. At the Golden Orpheus they received the third award for young performers, and two months later at the festival `Esenen briz` - the first award. Being tired of Festivals they decided to seriously buckle down to work and do what should be done…

One year later `Mene ne me poznavash` was included in the compilation `Rap Attack 1`. Thus Rumanetsa and Enchev were connected with Polysound Music Company, who later on became their producers, and helped them to finish their album. Next appeared the Mega hit `Pipni me tuk` /Touch me here/ and its video. It is Mega hit because it is the only Bulgarian track to stay 7 successive weeks on the first place of the most prestigious chart for BG music – Forte Top 50 (later renamed Fore Top 100).

After going about all the bigger studious in Bulgaria Rumanetsa and Enchev took the decision to finish their album in Vasko Teslata`s one. He helped them on not only with writing and arranging the tracks, but also with giving the final sound of the album. Guest musicians were Amalia participating in the track `Hubav den` /Nice Day/, Mania Duet – in the track `A kogato…` /And when…/, and Radoslav Slavchev (bass) – in the track `Kade e kupona?` /Where is the party?/. Alexia Ballet sang in the chorus of the song `Pipni me tuk` /Touch me here/. In the end of November, 2001 the recordings were finally finished.

However, the video of the second hit in the album `Moiata zhena` (My woman) was not quite successful. Meanwhile Vasko Teslata made a house remix of this track, which appeared in the compilation `Attack 8`.

The second album of Rumanetsa & Enchev was released in 2003. The boys continue to amuse their fans with such merry songs as `Zhena`(Woman) and `NeBe` (Sky).
