Kaffe
|
 During the last three years the band “Kaffe” becomes one of the most popular bands in Bulgaria. They succeeded to gain popularity with the hits “There Again”, “Isn’t It Love”, “Instead Of Me” ( ¹1 position in the national chart Bulgarian Top 100, based on the airplay list of more than 100 radio stations all over the country), “No More”. On 2004 MeloTVMania” awards (awards given by a popular music show “MeloTVMania”, broadcasted by Bulgarian National Television) Kaffe were awarded for the best band of the year. They all are professional musicians are professional musicians with copious background and use to be members of other bands before. They are young, looking well, make good music and believe in that they make. Two of the members of the band graduated at the famous Berkley College in USA.
Kaffe are:
Orlin Pavlov – vocal
Georgi Yanev – guitar
Milen Êuêîshàrîv - piano
Valery Tzenkov – drums
Martin Tashev – trumpet
Veselin Veselinov-Eko – bass guitar
The band has existed since January 1999 under the name “Badu”.Because of various individual projects and ångagements of the musicians the project had stopped till June 2001, when the band named itself “Kaffe” in an occasional refreshed team.
The musicians from the band “Kaffe” already have played to concerts and in albums of many Bulgarian pop and rock artists – Grafa, Lili Ivanova, Maria Ilieva, Stoyan Zahariev, Beloslava and the band “TRIP”, Vasil Naydenov and etc.
On 22th August 2003 the musicians came back from the International Music Fest “The Golden Stag” in Romania with a third prize. The European Main Office of MTV invited the band to make a special video for the music television. Their first album is now out on the market. Its name is “Alone”.
