Slang as a group became popular with their single `Sinyo`(Blue), which was a track in their debut album bearing the same name. With it they established their presence on the Bulgarian music stage and won the love of the Bulgarian music maniacs.
The history of the group began in May 1997. First they played in the clubs. Two years later after a series of successful stage performances and constant activity in clubs, the boys entered the studio to record their first album. The records were made in Studio 33 by Aleksander Todorov. On September 12, 2000 Slang made a contract with AveNew Productions for releasing the album `Sinyo`(Blue) and it appeared on the music market on December 12, 2002. English version for selling abroad was also circulated.
The pilot single of the album was `Moi Sviat`(My world), and the song `Liubovta niama krai`(Love never ends), being the second single in the album, reached the first places in the radio charts. `Koi`(Who) was filmed in video clip on the Sozopol and Arkutino beaches and officially presented in July 2001. Soon afterwards started filming `Luda glava` (Crazy mind), one of the songs chosen in a competition of BNT (Bulgarian National Television).
Part of the future plans of the group is a National tour.
