Isihia
|
 For the very first time the name of Isihia was heard by the audience 3 years ago, when the ethno group was invited to be the starting group at the concert of the Macedonian band Anastasia in Sofia. At that the formation, at which they take part seven boys and a girl, all of them students at The Sofia University, challenged the great success and even through in a shadow their colleagues form the Macedonian band. The concert in The National palace of Culture was a very successful start for Isihia. Only in two months after they won the award at the frames of `The Salon of Arts` - Sofia 2000 and they gave an individual concert ¨C promotion. This was followed by a few participations of Isihia in charity concerts in the Sofia University`s aula and in the Sofia Priest Seminary `St. Ivan Rilski`.
A year later Isihia signed a contract with AveNew Productions and released their same named individual album. A fact of curiosity is that AveNew productions and the Austrian musical company Polyglobe Music will produce and distribute the album on the territory of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and Lihtenstein. On the power of the contract PolyGlobe music will produce and distribute the album in September 2003 in all of the seventh countries. The design of the cover will differ according the one familiar to our native melomen, because the purpose of the Austrian company is to give a little more information about the culture of Bulgaria through the Isihia`s music. The first term of the contract is for three years and there is an option for continuing it. At the moment the two companies are revising on the subject of Isihia`s possibilities to present their material form their debut album with concerts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
In april 2003 on the music market was released also the second album of the group - `Orisia` - which includes the original music of the same named spectacle of Neshka Robeva.
