Beloslava was born in a family of the famous Bulgarian artist Aneta Sotirova. Being raised in an artistic environment, she grew up loving art. Still young she was determined to follow her way as an artist. Her nature to constantly strive for challenges drove her to Los Angeles, where she studied and graduated advertising photography. Coming back to Bulgaria Beloslava already knew singing was what she wanted to do. She formed her own group called Trip and went around Sofia performing in the clubs. In the same time Beloslava studied and graduated from the Musical Academy, with specialty stage singing in the class of prof. Nayden Andreev.
Beloslava had two successive presentations in the Golden Orpheus Festival - in 1998 and 1999, at which she was well liked by both the jury and the public and was given awards. The press declared her as `the white Negro`, because of her mild, warm vocals and partiality for the soul and jazz music. As she usually says she feels most comfortable singing in this music style.
To help her with the work over her debut album Beloslava chose one of the most talented young authors - Petar Dundakov (from techno duo Tibetski Sartsa ). The texts were written by Beloslava herself.
The first single Ulitsi (Streets) was released during the process of working over the album. It was well praised in the musical media. With its easiness and calmness the song was soon on the top of the musical charts and the video conquered the TV air. Dve luni (Two Moons) was the next one. The song was of Jivko Petrov, but remixed by Petar Dundakov. The rhythm and fresh sound made it the most played piece on the radio air for 2001. In the end of December 2001 the debut album `Ulitsi` was released, together with the video of the song Kadeto si ti (Where you are).
